The courtyard Montresora is a 14th-century building complex consisting of the manor house, the farm buildings, and the warehouses, along with the park and the forest.
It is interesting the horseshoe-shaped layout with a central building of the noble owners on two floors and an elegant entrance portal, in addition to a beautiful pigeon tower.
It was subjected to a restoration work in 2009, the first Italian zero-cost and zero-CO2-output restoration, resulting in zero environmental impact, a widespread use of renewable energy and the adoption of eco-friendly materials.
The above characteristics make the courtyard Montresora a kind of prototype which can be exemplary for the whole historical Italian heritage.
