The palace Ca’ Fileno is known in the history of Palazzolo for the fact that it belonged to a shady character similar to Don Rodrigo of Alessandro Manzoni.
The legend tells the existence of a well with some swords in the inside.
On the facade of the building there is a rather strange sundial as it marks all the 24 hours of the day.
In the inside there are some 17-century frescoes, while under the portico, in a plaque placed in 1709, you can read the piece of advice of the owner not to uproot the olive trees that died because of the frost on that date, but to wait for new shoots.
Again under the portico there is a blessing hand enclosed in a halo.
